a series of spectacular experiments, created in transit, enacted by transients lila roo + norah hoover.
in a 72' chevy armed with feather, fur, ornate plastic, braided silks and a constant stream of petals and bass, we travel in search of sites, characters and colors that allow us to paint our vision in three magic dimensions.
from big canyons to small seas, from a deserted carwash to muscle beach, we delight in the contrast of scenes and characters in our costumed, textured, and spontaneous art pieces.
the goal is a journey of site specific meetings between art, life, people, nature, colors, energy and space in sensory and sensual combustions. our work is free, alive and in flux.
our travels have just begun. in summer 2010, we headed from the edge of the west to edge of the east, usa. in fall we tour back across.
